Profile
A loyal and compassionate worker with a focus on excellent job performance and a can-do attitude. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat, with HTML/CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Articulate/Storyline 360, Qualtrics, and Canvas LMS course design. I have strong information literacy and proofreading skills and am known for having a friendly face and being a ‘quick study.’ Recently graduated from the University of South Florida with a master's degree in Learning Design and Technology.

Professional Experience
Jan 2020 – Present Gannon University, Ruskin, FL

Supporting campus facilities, operations, and the Doctor of Physical Therapy clinical education program. Tasks include exam accommodations coordination, hiring/supervision of Fitness Center employees, Spirit store, event and room scheduling, Qualtrics survey setup, and administrative support services as needed.
Key achievement

Worked with the Director of Operations to transition the campus through changing Covid-19 policies, including setup, staffing, and supervision of the campus wellness check stations.

Jan 2016 – May 2019 Ventura College, Ventura, CA and Remote (Florida)
Provided administrative support under several titles in the college’s busy Financial Aid Office, starting out as provisional Office Assistant, Student Services Assistant and Administrative Assistant before accepting a permanent Office Assistant position.

Key responsibilities under direction of the Financial Aid Officer included: Monitoring and reconciling two department budgets; contract renewals; requisitions of supplies, equipment and services; working with vendors and purchasing staff on promotional items; working with multiple campus departments and marketing staff to create and manage campus-wide events; meeting and travel arrangements; inventory and ordering of office supplies; liaising with local high schools and other entities to set up outreach/events; preparing and proofreading correspondence, newsletters, policy & procedures; with other team members, updating the department’s forms, web pages and social media; preparing and tracking interview and hiring paperwork for regular and provisional employees.

Oct 2010 – July 2016 Freelance: Proofreading, Copy-Editing, and Transcription

Working with PhD students whose first language is not English, transcribing research interviews and proofreading/copy-editing items ranging from doctoral theses to articles written for academic journals.

Apr 2013–Nov 2014 As Registrar, I was responsible for class scheduling and maintenance of student records and enrollment status, filling also a general administrative and reception role.

Nov 2010–Apr 2013 The Administrative Assistant role included incoming phone calls, mail handling, inventory and ordering of supplies, setting up meetings and events, verification of enrollment eligibility, auditing of student files, and other office and academic tasks as needed.
Sep 2007–Nov 2010 Learning Resource Center duties included teaching the information literacy curriculum and creating and presenting on-demand instructional material for specific classes.

Handled dual role as acting Registrar and Administrative Assistant by working with other departments to streamline responsibilities.

Created a workaround solution that enabled continued provision of accurate attendance data to the Finance and Student Services departments when the online learning management system’s automated student attendance link malfunctioned.
